Step by Step Guide
Open PowerBI and navigate to the Get Data menu button. Select Web
Select “Web” for the data source.
Select “Basic”. Paste your Conduit URL into the text box. For help generating your data URL follow the Conduit V6 guide here: Conduit V6
PowerBI will retrieve your data. Based on the amount of data that has been requested this may take a while. PowerBI will return the Navigator view.
Select “Displayed Text” followed by clicking the Transform Data button.
When the data is visible, select “Parse” and select “JSON” format.
When the system has transformed your data into individual records, transform the records into a table by clicking the “To Table” button in the menu bar.
Leave the default settings when transforming to table.
When data has been transformed, click the “Split” data button next to the single column header row.
Data will now be ready for you to use.
Column titles and values will be imported using default values. You may want to consider changing column titles and transforming Datestamp to Date Time values to make the data more user friendly.
