Connections
- All database connections are encrypted by default. AlphaX uses SSL/TLS for all data transfer between your browser and our servers, in both directions. AlphaX will never connect to a database on an unencrypted connection.
- Any attempt to connect over HTTP is redirected to HTTPS.
Physical
- AlphaX servers are hosted in Microsoft Azure Web Services, where they are encrypted at rest using the AES-256 standard.
- Physical and environmental security is handled entirely by Azure and their vendors. Azure provides as extensive list of compliance and regulatory assurances, including SOC 1, 2, and 3, and ISO27001. See Azure compliance and security docs for more detailed information.
Minnovation Company Policies
- Minnovation mandates that employees act in accordance with security policies designed to keep customer data safe.
- Minnovation requires sensitive data to be encrypted using industry-standard methods when stored on disk or transmitted over public networks.
- Two-factor authentication and strong password controls are required for administrative access to systems.
